How To “Complete” The Incomplete

What better time of year to write about beginnings, Spring.

Recently, I noticed some things I was doing that seemed “hard”.

I felt like I was swimming upstream.  There were delays.

But I finally let it all go.  One morning, I woke up clear minded, and genuinely inspired and excited about creating something new.

It is called completion.

It’s not about fixing the old, but completing the intention, the journey, and thensome.

Recently broke up with someone?  Well, the alpha female way is to let go of what you did, and he did.  Do not cut men off or place new rules in place in light of this.  Instead, complete.  Complete that intention to be with that right person, right job, right home.

Below are some ways you can clear your thinking to “complete” what has been fleeting, elusive, or forgotten.  These are first steps as you begin any new projects or efforts.

When people pray, chant or sing, they energize the space or air around them.  When church starts at 10am, and the pastor doesn’t come out until 11:15 they are just taking time to “energize” the place.

This happens in all spiritual practices in some form or fashion by dancing, prayer, incense, and other ways.

There are only 3 things you need to know to create the energy to complete almost anything:  desire, design, and decision.  The 3 Ds.  Below I will explain what each one is and what they contribute to the completion process.

Desire

Desire alone is a powerful source.

Desire contains all the thoughts, emotions, feelings, and words of all the things you want and need.

Desire is quiet.  It bubbles inside of us until it’s time to write it down or discuss it.  But all in all, it is quiet.  It begins from a quiet place usually provoked by observation of something we see and want for ourselves or provoked by our own imagination.

Give desire its respect.  An alpha female knows that when she has an idea or thought for a desire it means it is a signpost for it to come.  Now, or later, or waaaay later.

You don’t desire things by chance.  They grow within you as a guide that leads you to a certain place.  So, if you have a “crazy” desire, keep sitting with it.  If it’s about the house on the hill, let it motivate you to get the job or career that can pay the mortgage.  That is what desire does.

But it is loose cannon if not bottled and channeled properly.

Design

By designing a way or creating a space to receive your desire, you channel your desire the right way.

Design is where your tools come in: prayers, novenas, astrology, law of attraction are just some examples.  However, you choose what is best and represents your own spiritual and/or religious background.

For example, novenas are prayers that are focused on specific requests or needs.  In Islam, these are called Ishtikaras, and in Christianity, they have their own models for types of prayer requests.

I like novenas because they provide me with structure and when to do it.  I can’t just “pray” or design my own prayer schedule.  I can do a 9 day novena or 9 hour novena.    That’s just me.   My next challenge will be a 30 day novena.

With all of that said, prayer is still the most powerful way to move and manipulate energy.  If your desire is clear, focused and pointed, prayer charges the air around you to bring your desire forth.

And yes, that answer may be no sometimes.  Whether you believe your prayers are answered by God, The Universe, or “coincidences”, prayer is the force that it begins with.

You can call it “treatments” too.  Prayers do “treat” problems.  However, “treatments” are not always prayers.  Treatments can be affirmations.

Affirmations are another powerful tool, and can be used with prayers or used alone.  Affirmations charge the air around you, but they also stick in your head like a rhythm or a song.  At least that is the goal. If you can say an affirmation to yourself, while doing a math problem, that is evident that the affirmation as sunk in your subconscious.  Once, it does, it lays the groundwork for manifestations.

I write my own affirmations at times, but I mostly use affirmation cards by Florence Scovel Shinn when I need direction.  I pulled out some affirmation cards randomly and feel that one of these can help someone in the Inner Circle:

1)    When I am able to let go of my problem (cast the burden) I shall have instantaneous manifestation

2)    If this (my desire) is mine, I cannot lose it; if it is not, give me its equivalent

3)    Spirit is never too late.  I give thanks I have received (my desire) on the invisible plane and that it manifests on time.

Always choose affirmations that ‘click’.  If you don’t feel it, you won’t see it!

Decision

Here is where most people get lost.

This is where they say find out what they wanted wasn’t what they wanted.   This is where they get confused, overwhelmed, and scared, and STOP.

Things are left undone, incomplete, undecided.  Nobody wants to responsible for the wrong decision.  To make a decision is final, but it’s also where everything moves.  A decision is a commitment.  Once you commit to anything, everything happens.

The first commitment should be to yourself.  So, how does this work?  Look around, and see what decisions you let to fall to the wayside.  What needs to be decided upon today?  I can think of 3 things.  The other dots in life cannot connect if a decision is not made.

Once you have the desire, you receive your answer through design, and make a decision about whether to accept that answer or not.  Here’s where it gets good.

So, you asked for that man.  He arrives.  He loves you.  He’s the greatest.  Problem solved?  No.  Though you may have embraced him, you still need to make a decision to allow this man to be a man to you.  You need to submit to the will of your relationship.  Good or bad.

Decision is the cousin of acceptance.  It means you accept what is.  You commit to what is now, not later or to come.  It allows the next chapter in the book to begin.  It is the road to completion.

With these words: Desire, Design, Decision, you’ll be able to tackle any problem and complete tasks.  What do you want? (Desire)  How will you get it?  (Design)  Will you say yes or no to it?  (Decision)
