You’re My SoulMate Whether You Know It Or Not

She looked great on Grammys.
But, whoever thought Whitney and Bobby would split? Folks couldn’t see these two with anybody else but each other.
It’s possible to have love for someone and not be with them. Not even have the desire to be with them. Maybe the desire is there, but it’s not strong enough. As long as that person is a part of you in some way, they can still be a soulmate. Even if it’s just for specified time.
I don’t believe that in this great, big world there is one person for us, there could be 3-4. We just have to know how far along we are in that number. Are on on that #2, #1 or ready for the last? I believe that in certain times in our lives that person is the right person, our soulmate. But as we evolve, so do our needs and perspective, and that person may not be right for us anymore. Sure, a soulmate should be able to evolve with you, but hey, sometimes it doesn’t happen. We have to let people go to complete their own separate journey. Sometimes, soulmates are in our lives to teach us something, and may never leave until we “get it”. That is why it’s so important to appreciate that relationship–the good and bad.
I plan for an eternity whether now or in the next life with my “last” soulmate. Just because someone is not a part of our lives, does not mean they are not a part of us. Each soulmate carries you on to the next one. Until it becomes your last one.

whitney and bobby are soulmates they let the media get in their heads but i see those two creeping back together, if not, then maybe blog is right that it was just time to go to that next place in life…

Get out of my head!!! I recently broke up with my bf of a year two weeks ago and we get along just fine now. Well he is having a hard time accepting the fact that we are not together, he asks me all the time if I still love him and I do, so he doesn’t understand how I can love him and not be with him…I broke it down to him that just because I love you doesn’t mean we need to be together…He thinks I am insane. But I truly feel he is my soulmate, but the timing is SO off. He is back in school and an athlete and I am in my career already, so I have different wants and needs and we are just not compatible anymore…I feel good about recognizing it early instead of staying frustrated, and since we have broken up I have been a lot happier because I have no expectations from him and I don’t have to deal with constantly being disappointed because he just isn’t where I am emotionally,mentally or financially. Now we are just friends (NOT SLEEPING TOGETHER AT ALL) platonic all the way and I have absolutley no desire to be with him, because I recognize what I want and need, and refuse to take any steps backward and he truly helped me with that. Because I didn’t know what I wanted when we first start seeing eachother, now I do. He served his purpose lol. Great article, it just felt like a confirmation to everything!
I believe that we all have a soulmate but it doesn’t mean that you will always be with them. You do have that one person that you connect with like no other but then you may have others after that who are special too but not like your soulmate. Truth be told your soulmate could be any gender or relationship.

Very true and good post. People sometimes forget or fail to realize that you can outgrow someone you love.
@THC that Bronx Tale line is the truth and a classic movie. Also you can be loved or feared but fear last a lot longer then love. Sonny dropped a lot real life knowledge in that movie.
