Tip 21: How To Be An Alphanista
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”–CS LEWIS
Ever had a dream that happened but didn’t quite happen like you thought? Or a dream that is taking entirely too long to come to pass? Years are going by, and you’re still dreaming, painting pretty pictures in your head and nothing is moving. What to do? Create a new dream. Scratch the old ones. Anything you are too attached to won’t happen because you are too close to it.
When you are too close to a dream you hold on to that energy and don’t let it out to bring your dreams back to you. I know, I know. It’s all metaphsyics. Notice when you “forget” about something you lose you find it? Such is life.
What just popped in my head was seeing some older folks, saddened and lonely, still holding on to their dreams and what could have been. It’s quicksand and before you know it, you’re all the way in and so stuck that you become a memory of yourself. So, like an Alphanista, and always an alpha female, look at those dreams that seem stagnate, and create new ones. In order to give something life, it has to “die”. Never be afraid to let go, and press “play” again. It’s called reinvention.
How do you create new dreams?
1) Get rid of the old ones, whether you burn them, toss them into the sea or simply rip them up, just do it. It’s sad, you’ll cry, and you’ll get over it.
2) The next day, start flipping those magazines for photos or start writing out new dreams for>>>marriage, money, career, health, etc.
3) Set a place for your new dreams. Whether it’s a box, under your bed, or in a journal, keep them in a sacred place and every now and then pray over them, and take a look at your life, and see if it will be dream come true or a dream revised.
