Tip 18: How To Be An Alphanista

womancareer1“I am my own experiment. I am my own work of art.” Madonna

There’s nothing like pushing limits.

Taking your mind, body, and heart places you never thought you could.  An alpha female is a woman constantly evolving and changing.  One year she is Martha Stewart, and the next she’s Lady Gaga.  But one thing stays the same, her almost supernatural sense of confidence.  She literally believes she can be and do anything if she wants.   It’s what keeps her alive, and interested in the world.  She’s born curious, but this doesn’t mean she can’t settle down.  Getting a man, or getting married is like another adventure to her.  She clearly doesn’t get why people should “settle down” anywhere.  It’s about “settling up”.  Start a new beginning, be the student, and not always the teacher.

Even when that experiment hurts or confuses, it is still a work of art.  It is what makes the alpha intrinsically alpha.  Nobody wants to learn from someone who has not experienced the pains and pangs of life.  If you haven’t, you simply aren’t that interesting.  If you appear too perfect, you create enemies.  Be willing to be show even your messy side, every now and again.

Be open to new things—foods, diets, sports, countries, relationships, and more.  Taking your mind and body to new limits only helps stretch your emotional and physical muscle.  An alpha female, however, won’t abuse this or be excessive.  She’s too self centered for that.  Her health and emotional safety always comes first.  And if it doesn’t, she better have a damn good reason.

This is so eloquently put. I live by this quote, “Change and growth take place when a person has risked himself and dares to become involved with experimenting with his own life.”
—Herbert Otto. I’m posting this on facebook.
