With all the talk of singleness lately, and the myth of the “single black female”, is it wrong to put career first and sacrifice love?
We read the stats on how hard it is to find love during a busy career, and how if you focus on love, you can lose it all. If you are reading this early enough, you’ll already know my answer. A good alpha female knows how to balance and if she sees a deficit in one area, she focuses her energy to even things out. To her, re-energizing her female side is important and a powerful career doesn’t necessarily enhance her attractor factor or her desirability among men. A typical alpha will start her career young, stack, and then populate with the right man, usually done by 28.
Do you think one should come before the other? What if you are in your 30s or 40s is it different then?

to choose to not accept any suitors is a conscious decision based on an intention to not accept any suitors, i always see these as control issues, very similiar to career vs love
What if you’re not intentionally putting career first you just happened to not accept any of the suitors who come your way yet?
Personally speaking, it depends on our definition of love.
BTW, why is it women always feel like they have to chose one or the other?
IDK, I just think in the right circumstance women can have their cake and eat it too.
Both can be done, but it can be difficult to balance the two.
