I’m Single, If I Choke, Will I Die?

January 6, 2009

womanchokingChances are you will.

You live alone, and are sucking on a chicken bone.  A commercial you love comes on, you laugh, and then, and then…you fall out on the ground grabbing your neck.  You squirm, you cry, you kick, and then…well, you know what happens.  This is the fear of so many single women.

Last year, Life Alert started advertising gadgets for single women to wear around their neck just in case.

Now, if you choke and live with someone, like your man or husband, he can come to the rescue.  Granted that he is close enough, granted that he is home, granted that he doesn’t want you to die.

So, just something to chew on this afternoon.  If you’re single and live alone, please make friends with the neighbors, have friends check on you, and such.   Please don’t let it get this bad ladies, you can do something about it.

Also if you see that this blog hasn’t been updated in several days, call the blog police.

Single Men think about this too! Especially when I’m getting out the tub…LOL

We all need somebody at the end of the day.

@ Derrick: exactly, we all need someone in our lives who is there to make us feel secure and loved, whether it be man or woman. I can only speak for myself, but women get caught up in the Ms.Independent bull****! Independent! Really, knowing that when you come home from a hard days work you wish you could have a man kiss you on your neck, rub your back and feet and make everything all good, we know we want that. Ladies, like Maryann has advised us, it’s time to stop frontin.’ I plan to make this year about catching/keeping a man and being in a long term relationship. I want the sexual compatibility, the friendship, the passion and yes, the commitment. – I know it can happen if I want it to happen.

Sorry, if I’m rambling, I just get very passionate about subjects like this. I really feel Black Women get carried away with “I don’t need no man” ish! We need our men and they need us. Point Blank. All my single ladies, let’s get it cracking, and let’s land that man in 2009.

    Love this blog!

I agree with this from both sides.

@sherryberry. Just my view if you treat someone like you don’t need them then there is no need to be with them and no one wants to be in any kind of relationship with someone who acts like they don’t need them at all.

Got something to say?
