I think women look to other women for validation too much because in all honesty, most women dress for other women. Why should any grown azz woman care what another one has on. I get you on the taste level though, some sista's don't know when they've gone off the map with their style, lol! I've been guilty of this too- but I feel you should take risks and be confident with your ish anyway. I definitely like all of the edgy, bold looks this season though. I gut UberExcited when I've picked out something that makes me feel like BoomBoomPow :) I'm slowly increasing my price range in my wardrobe and have made several sacrifices for signature pieces and several trendier pieces.
