An “alphanista” always looks good for her man, but untils he finds one she only wants to adorn herself in the finest things, even if it’s imaginary. Actress Stacey Dash embodies what being an alphanista is all about. She constantly reinvents herself while still being a poster girl for true, black beauty or beauty, period. She’s been around forever, but she never over extends her stay or nor is she a victim of overexposure. Her body is banging, fit and her face is ageless, fresh. Black men love her. They have more to love now, because our girl came out with a Victorian-inspired lingerie line called Letters of Marque. Straight up reinvention. She doesn’t have to be in the limelight to make money. Hell, we don’t even know what is going on with her everyday life like most celebrities. We know her background. She’s related to hip hop business man Damon Dash and married white, disappointing her black male admirers. So, she is one woman unafraid of doing her own thing no matter what. She did her hip hop video for Kanye and chilled. Then popped up in King magazine looking fab. Who knows what else she’ll be up to. But I’ll be taking notes.
