Alphanista Moment: The Power of The “P”

Can You Say No To President Kibaki for 7 Days?

Can You Say No To President Kibaki for 7 Days?

What’s a girl to do when the boys are behaving badly?

Well, according to the BBC, over in Kenya, the Women’s Development Organization is urging the Kenyan ladies to unite on a sex boycott in order to bring attention to the inequities of the government, which has reportedly been ignoring the real issues of violence and murder.  The precise problem is between President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga who cannot seem to agree on anything to move the country forward.  The Prime Minister’s wife Ida Odinga supports the sex boycott the women activists have initiated.  According to the BBC, she’s trying to get the President’s wife to agree to it too.

Here’s more:

Patricia Nyaundi, executive director of the Federation of Women Lawyers (Fida), one of the organisations in the campaign, said they hoped the seven-day sex ban would force the squabbling rivals to make up.”Great decisions are made during pillow talk, so we are asking the two ladies at that intimate moment to ask their husbands: ‘Darling can you do something for Kenya?’”

“I support them because I am a woman,” Mrs Odinga said.

This is only something a bunch of alpha females would concoct in a very dark room that they only know how to find.  So, has it worked?  Well, according to reports it’s drawing attention to the matter and putting the pressure on.  These ladies know a thing or two about men and their own feminine power.  If planned accordingly women can raise the marriage rate, college enrollment among men, lower the out of wedlock rate, end war, stop famine, and the list goes on, all by saying “no” sometimes.

Now, can you imagine what it would be like here in the States?  I don’t think American women have the chutzpah for this, sorry.  Supreme self-confidence.   They just can’t.  Shame.

LOL This isn’t about women using sex as a weapon as much as it is about women forming a united front against the ills of their country. Using sex as a weapon is usually to hurt, confuse, or manipulate, not that it’s bad, but these women are using it in a different context. Generally speaking, sex as as a weapon is far more better than guns.
