Get that money, girls!
One of our most lovely hall of famer nominees…enjoy!
These little 20 something chicks are something else.
Vanessa and Angela didn’t go the video vixen route or the I’m-a-get-me-a-baller-and do-nathan-with-my dough-Kim Kardashian route. They went mainstream with “Pastry” their sneaker and apparel collection for girls. Check out their fan photos. They are definitely universal. They banked over $25 million dollars in sales this year and the company only started 2 years ago.
They used daddy’s money to get more money. They used daddy’s money to build a brand and a following that can add to the Simmons empire. I see them in the celeb photos at parties and they are enjoying life while being about their business.
Here’s a little something more:
Angela and Vanessa are hoping to branch out and turn their Pastry line into a global franchise the same way (their former Aunt) Kimora delivered her Baby Phat brand and KLS Collection into one of the top urban franchises in the world. Plans to launch a boot line, clothing, cosmetics and fragrance line are already in the works.
Those Simmons men really love taking care of their women! In a few more years, you can sell the company and watch its stock on a yacht in Tortola.
But should they be inducted into the Alphanista Hall of Fame or is it too early for these sweetie pies? They haven’t quite survived any scandals or brought down any empires yet

Yay…gotta respect their hustle
These two are just eating up daddy’s money–the others u included like kate middleton (on the come up major with her snap of the prince from no where!) (mary j blige) (angelina jolie) and others. I’m still waiting! They still WOULD BE ON TORTOLA with or without Pastry! SO NAY!
Now these are two young women who I respect!
Nope. Only way they would get a yes from me if they turn their line into a Baby Phat. I just don’t think they have done enough on their own to get credit for anything. They have used Russell and Kimora pull to get their own thing going. However they are still in the shadow of Russell and Kimora. Yes they are on the path to joining the club but they are not there yet.
Nothing warms my heart like seeing young black entrepreneurs use every resource available (even daddy’s money) to put forth an effort to do something positive and constructive, instead of being the latest Paris Hilton.

I say YAY!
I love these young women and their drive but I have to say “nay”. They seem like good girls but it seems like their life is their fathers life. It’s like they really cannot make a bad decision and learn from it because “daddy said” and we all have to learn from our mistakes. They are not in their own yet and they need to grow a bit more but I think they are going to grow very well.
If you hatin then stop. These girls should certainly get the nod. They came up off daddys money and influance and bust their own move. I love it. They went and got they own thing. They not waiting for no man to take care of them.They are suppose to marry rich because they will bring their own assets to the table. Makes sense to me.
