This is going to be a short one, because it’s all written in stone already.
This is a woman who is a dancer. A dancer. She started out on In Living Color, landed a plum movie role in Selena to show off her acting, that pushed her to more movie roles, and singing, music, and more dancing. She is still one of the top 3 Hispanic actresses in Hollywood next to Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek. Lopez managed to get way to the top and she didn’t do it with lots of school training to say the least. She did it with forming “relationships” early on whether they were standing or laying down we still don’t know, but do we care? This is a woman who was not afraid to use her sexuality and power over men. Very well aware of her sensuality. She hooked herself up to several wagons to raise her profile and skipped the side streets to fame.
She also had a tremendous vision for her life, strong commitment and faith in her self that she often brings up in magazine interviews. She says that she always saw her life this way. And if you’ve seen her transformation from the fatty faced girl in Selena days to the svelte, chiseled features and diva style she has now it’s something only an alpha female could orchestrate in a very short amount of time (and a few million helps too).
Oh, and about the husbands. Sometimes, it takes an alpha female a few times to get it right. One thing Lopez always wanted was a family, she got one, and now I guess she’s moving on–again.
So, I nominate her for the Alphanista Hall of Fame. Yay or nay?
