A Man With A Hobby Is A Man With Ambition

Editor’s Note: For those who emailed me, yes I do have a hobby come to think of it, and it’s baking. Wow, I didn’t even know because I haven’t done it in a minute. I also like going to the range. This Blog for instance, I don’t consider it a hobby because it demands more time and is part of my business, but it completely gives me the sanity that I need right now. Going through some major stress ya’ll. I just wanted to focus on the men for this one. Alpha females are always doing things “differently”. In that case, she would rather bond with a man in a way no other woman would, and definitely much more than sex. Anyway, post coming up at a later date for the ladies with “interesting” hobbies. That’s a goodie.

As we get ready for our weekend, some of us will be with that special someone integrating ourselves in something we think is utterly ridiculous.  It can be ridiculous if your man’s hobby is playing video games.  But men with real hobbies should not be disturbed for they carry the torch to the answers of this world.  Yes, a man with a hobby is a man to have because it can be a quicker way to bond with him and, he’ll also be a happier man.  I certainly don’t want to be responsible for anyone’s happiness and studies show that people with hobbies are happy. I have been with men who have hobbies, odd ones, but that I will leave for another blog.  One of my exes loved miniature cars.  Is that what they call those things? 

Anyway, I think it’s remote controlled miniature cars.  He would have his office filled with them and spend hours outside his house in the street with them.  I’ll know it’s going well when I hear a yelp or two from out the window, or a crash with a real car.  Another one, enjoyed motorcycles.  Now, that is something a girl could get used to.  Because of his love for motorcycles, I learned a lot about riding, and am now looking into a woman’s riding club.  Another one, took pride in gardening and furniture upholstery, so he was a real man’s man, good with his hands.  That meant we spent our weekends at the flea market buying old stuff, and he’d spent the evenings making it look nice for me. I actually had to stop him, because sometimes I liked the old antiquey look.  He taught me gardening.  Two of my exes have done that. Gardening! And I thank them for it. 

A man with a hobby is a man going places, especially those with expensive hobbies like golfing and sailing, he has lots to share with a woman, and many are happy to teach.  Some women can be so used to teaching, that they forget about learning and listening.  A man with a hobby is almost borderline genius.  If you’re a woman without a hobby, find a man with one.  These hobbies are passions, now if they could only be as good boyfriends as they are hobbyists
